Hi and thanks for stopping by. First of all I want to say that my purpose here is for friends and dating. Maybe this is how I will meet the person I'll want to be with for years to come. I do realize that finding the person who is right for me is like finding a needle in a hay stack but I'm ok with that.

I'm a bit of a "hippy chick". I've been a vegetarian most of my life, but don't expect that of others (still, no hunters, please)..
Health and fitness are very important to me. I have never been attracted to a guy that doesn't take care of his body, which is extremely difficult to find. If this offends you, I'm sorry but I'm being honest.

I'm not typical for Dallas, in fact, I feel very displaced here. I'm active, open, honest and very independent I like to stay busy with friends, projects, and practicing & teaching yoga. Some of my other interests include meeting new people,reading a great book & my garden, although I have terrible gardening skills & I love being outdoors.
I'm fairly outgoing in individual and small group settings and I'm very easy going, in general. I treat people kindly. I don't practice or believe in organized religion but enjoy conversations on the subject (as long as it is not taken personally).


I live in a big city (too big) with ever growing crazy traffic but keep a small circle of friends to keep my perspective. I do have my own car... (see profile questions). I'm not much of a partier/drinker. Most of my buddies are yoga people who love to travel. I love all the people who are in my life, my dogs and my bike, my garden and job. One of my favorite pastimes is exploring. I was island hopping in Hawaii a few months ago... my next big trip will probably be Egypt and Greese followed by exploring New Zealand. There is a place there (New Zealand) which you hike to and then decend, by ropes, through several earth crevices and then hike back out. Do you want to join me there? They also have lot's of zip lines (a new passion for me).
Pretty crazy for a person (which would be me) who is terrified of heights...ay! Sometimes a girl just needs some adventure. "Girls just want to have fun!".

I adore my (grown) kids. They amuse me more than anyone else on earth.

Are you open to new experiences? Do you like to travel? Are you an honest & loyal friend? Are you the person who you portray yourself to be? Can you make me laugh until I cry?
These are all things that I value highly in another person.

The first date could be something very casual. Maybe we would meet somewhere for tea or a smoothie, spend a bit of time outside,talking on a patio, trying to not make this first meeting seem like an interview :)
