Hi, I am Joseph

I am basically a nice guy looking for a nice gal for the long term. I was married for almost 15 years, which ended three years ago. I have two children, a daughter off on her own and a 15 year old son. I am a simple guy who doesn't need or desire an extravegant lifestyle. I like to travel, be it driving cross country to see our many national parks and other treasures, taking a cruise, or traveling the world. It is the area attractions that are important to me, not that the hotel is grand. Sometimes camping in a tent is the best accomodation because it puts you where the splendor is. Just hanging out with family and friends, reading a good book, or tinkering with something mechanical are favorite pastimes.

I am 51 years old and do my best to take care of myself. My favorite exercise is riding my road bicycle, though I get out on my mountain bike or hike a little bit too. I am active enough to be considered healthy, but I admit I am not skinny. The doctor's charts put me as a little overweight, but not obese. I am muscular, but admit to a few extra pounds of fat. I consider myself at a 'comfortable' weight. I would want a gal who is similarly naturally active and keeps healthy with this activity.

I am Catholic and attend Mass regularly, but don't feel bad if a miss a week or two. I am active in a Catholic men's organization doing charitable activities for the community.

A drive to the coast to walk the beach, a ride to the local Livermore vineyards or even the Sierra Foothill wineries, both would be fun in my convertible. A hike in Sunol Regional park with a bottle of wine, and cheese and crackers. In the summer, take a ride out on the Delta with my SeaDoo. A simple meal at a local diner. Coffee would be fine for an initial meeting.
