Well, let's just say I am giving this site a shot since it's free!! I am very much a girly girl, but can play some mean sports too (and I drive a six speed sports car too!! - not too princessy for a princess..yes??? :-)). I am a very hard worker, and love what I do. My family is most important to me. My mother died just over thirteen years ago and I really miss her everyday - just one more of her nagging phone calls asking what I ate that day (or if I drank some milk) would mean the world to me. I am a daddy's girl - guilty as charged - even moreso now that my mother is gone (he turned 80 in August - woo hoo!!) - I look so much like my mother(with many of the same characteristics as well), so my father feels I am all he has left of her, and so..... However, he did remarry, which makes me very happy. I hated to see him so sad after his " one true love" died. I have a twin niece and nephew who are in their sophmore year at VATech (different majors though - they are not attached at the hip)University in late August. They tell me that I am their "Fairy Princess" Auntie, but now they are just getting so much older that I am not sure if they have changed their mind on that one. And, they don't call me "Aunt" Jeannie per my request, just Jeannie. The Aunt part sounds kinda old to me. I am very sensitive, and can get my feelings hurt easily. I am trying to work on this "flaw" though. I love to laugh (especially at myself) and have been told that I have a great giggle and sound like a little girl on the phone. I am a country music and classic/southern rock lover. Oh, and I love old people, as they possess so much wisdom and make their visitors feel so good; they love to be around younger folks too; why not??? :-) My older brother, hmmmm - Let's just say that I love him very much, but he is no "picnic" at times - happily married for 25 years now, so for that he does receive a great deal of my admiration and a gold star!! He is a great husband and father, and his wife is a saint :-). Oh, and he is a wonderful son to my/our dad too!!
