Is my soul mate to be found here, only time will tell? First, I will try to give a brief synopsis on who I am and then I will extrapolate on what I would like to find. I am a transplant from the north, surprise surprise!!! I love waking up in paradise everyday. First and foremost, I am not a game player or a serial dater. I have old-fashioned morals and work ethics. I can be counted on to do what I say, be where I say (and on time, if not a bit early) and finish what I start. I like order and discipline and have a strong sense of obligation to my responsibilities. Playtime, however, gives me space to see like an artist. I have a tendency to bend lines with my imagination, turning black and white into blues and yellows. I am willing to try new things (will never try eating sea urchin again!!!) I can think in conventional ways, but left on my own, I opt for the eccentric or avant-garde. I learn from reading, talking, watching people and nature, or by simply letting my mind wander and wonder. I am a caretaker with a tender heart. I treat others the way that I want to be treated and enjoy meeting new people and new cultures. I realize that it is imperative for me to maintain a balance between taking care of others and taking care of myself. I enjoy my own company as much as I enjoy the company of others. I am a great conversationalist and thrive in the wonderful kinds of connections that I have with family and friends. I am amiable and relaxed, comfortable with almost any group in any setting and rarely without a smile. I am equally at ease taking the lead or laying back. I am emotional, but not in a high-maintenance, drama way. Instead, I am quick to ride the high when enjoying myself, love intense friendships, and am fully engaged to my emotions. I thoroughly enjoy another person’s company and look forward to the time that I can share with the man that I love details of our lives that we deem important to us alone.

Enough about me, let me tell you what I am looking for in a companion, soul mate, best friend and lover. I would like to find some one that shares my curiosity and adventurous nature. Cuddling up watching a movie is great, but must be intermingled with playtime. You must love the ocean and walking in the sand on a moonlit night, a bearskin rug in front of a roaring fire during a snowstorm, sitting in the dark watching a lightning storm, slow dancing after a candlelit dinner and giggling in the dark. I want a man who is comfortable with himself. Someone who I can wink to across a crowded room and we know what the other one is thinking. Someone who can laugh at themselves and laugh with me at myself. I need someone who is passionate about music; my life has a sound track!!! No game playing, jealousy, dishonesty or power struggles. I expect mutual respect, trust and encouragement. I want us to share an acceptance and celebration of our unique differences. Most importantly, I need for my partner to be happy with himself. Life is too short not to relish every moment and have hope for the future.

My free time is spent pursing my passions in life: anything to do with the ocean, gourmet cooking, nature, traveling, dancing, exploring, reading and helping others.
