I have been told that I have a great sense of humour and dry wit, and I also tend to be a little shy. I love to walk/hike, enjoy reading and movies, have tried golf, but would have to try it again to see if I could really like it. I want to travel - Europe is on my list, especially Italy. I enjoy social outings that include white wine. I love to dance, and like many different kinds of music. I love rock from the 60s and 70s (Led Zeppelin, Queen, Heart), some country (Dixie Chicks, Garth Brooks, Kris Kristofferson), Bare Naked Ladies, and some blues. I sing four-part harmony with a chorus (not a choir), and rehearse once a week. I am most comfortable in jeans and a sweater/t-shirt, but do enjoy dressing up and a nice dinner out.

I like to have fun and like to be active. I enjoy having a heated discussion about religion, spirituality, ethics, etc., but not so much about politics. Having similar interests is, of course, a bonus, but it is most important to me what type of person you are, what your values are, and that you have integrity and can be honest. I am very loyal - I will not cheat and I will not be the other woman. When I am next in a relationship, I want it to be with someone whose eyes light up when they see me. I love the feeling of skin on skin. I'm not looking for a casual sexual relationship (however, a serious sexual relationship...that has possibilities!). However, I want more than just the sexual relationship. I am looking for a life partner, but am patient enough to wait to meet that person, and to wait for a relationship to develop. I want someone who is very capable of living and being happy on his own (as I am), and who would continue to be all of that after meeting me. I don't need someone to take care of me; just someone to share my life (joys, sorrows, experiences) with. Is that you?

Meet for coffee or dinner, and find out a little about each other - what's important to each of us, are we physically attracted to each other, etc. Maybe a walk after, and maybe along the lake front. Not a movie, because that just limits our chance to get to know each other. No commitment for that first date, just some conversation. Decide later whether a second date is a possibility.
