So I'm back in Seattle after a long and disastrously wonderful adventure as a stranger in strange lands, and for reasons I don't fully comprehend I find myself single again. But I'm back to stay, and looking for someone to spend time with who doesn't bore the hell out of me... not as though that is hard to find, but I want to be laughing with you, not at you! Seriously, if you are from another country, or at least have traveled a bit, that is a big plus. Tired of people who think Seattle (or Toronto) is the centre of the universe.

Anyway, I fix airplanes for living, and spend the rest of the time hiking, working on cars (and anything else mechanical), and conducting dangerous science experiments. I also build strange industrial sculptures... think Hammering Man (or Burning Man) Tired of the girls I meet at bars, looking for someone who can carry on a interesting conversation and looks at least a bit cute in a lab coat.

Something a bit out of the ordinary... a gallery opening followed by sneaking onto a rooftop to drink martinis out of coffee mugs. Driving around half the night chasing a thunderstorm. Going to a country karaoke bar and singing Sinatra. And my perennial favourite, sitting on someone else's dock on Lake Union in the dark, staring at the reflection of the city lights, possibly while eating sushi.
