Merry Xmas or Happy Holidays!

I am a transplant from Europe looking forward to visiting different places of interest in the States. Once we connect I will give you access to more pictures.

Having made a couple of wrong turns relationship-wise, I feel I am better placed to find someone who compliments me ... that someone special who just 'feels' right. I've dated enough to know what turns me on and what definitely does not. Definitely not a plaaya! More of a one woman man. Don't worry about games with me, I'm not looking for booty calls but a long term relationship.

What am I like? Well I am 5'9", tanned (mixed race), 170 lbs, slim/athletic, black hair, dark brown eyes. My friends have described me as a gentleman who is polite and has manners so I can mix into a variety of social circles.

Adventure and fun are keywords for me - trying out new things is part of discovering what life is all about and I am currently looking to start taking flying lessons. Tennis and golf are my main sports and I recently got a membership to a gym so hope to start working out soon.

My career brings me a lot of satisfaction and I work hard at it, but I also know when to quit working, relax and have some fun. I am educated and always trying to learn new things. I like to think I am open-minded and like to get to know a person and understand what makes them tick - sometimes that's *mission impossible* but at least I'm up for the challenge :)

The kind of person I get along with is someone who is confident and devoid of major insecurities and hangups. I don't take kindly to a lot of drama in my life - stress is a silent killer, so may not be suited to someone who is still working through a lot of issues :) Someone who respects herself and therefore others. A warm and loving girl who likes to have fun doing pretty much anything. Someone who is prepared to make a commitment and knows what it takes to make a relationship work or at least willing to find out. I do not look back on any of my past relationships with regret, each one was a learning experience and taught me something about myself and the kind of person I am more suited to and I hope my partner takes the same attitude.

I have found that I am more in tune with a woman who has a good mix of emotion, passion and rationale. Someone who is more happy than sad, laughs or smiles more than she cries and is willing to put as much into a relationship as she takes from it. I believe a strong committed relationship is built on solid foundations of love, trust, honesty and respect. I attempt to bring those qualities to the table and look for the same in my partner.

In turn I like to spoil my girl and surprise her every so often. The goal being to bring about as much fun and happiness as possible to balance out life's inevitable challenges. I have an ecclectic taste in music but mostly listen to R&B. You might catch me listening to Nessun Dorma one day, Lincoln Park, Eric Benet or even Deep Purple on other days. I blame it on my my British upbringing and nomadic life till I came to USA.

I don't think it's so important what you do other than making sure it's a date where you can talk and get to know each other. Watching a movie or going to some non-interactive show, paintballing etc would obviously not be the best of activities. Dinner, coffee are ideal but open to other suggestions for a fun date.
