I’m an easygoing guy with an open mind, a great sense of humor and an adventurous spirit. I enjoy nature, writing, and a wide array of music.

Other likes: bike riding, traveling, my family and small circle of friends, singing, playing guitar, conversation, a night on the town, movies, plays, Phillies baseball, random acts of kindness, a nice buzz, those increasingly rare moments when I imagine the world is still the great paradise it once was, comedy, animals, architecture, beautiful souls, comfortable companionship, weekend getaways, New York, Chicago, the Keys, sunshine and moonlight, creeks and rivers and everything good.

I have a bright and beaming 4-year-old son who I love madly.

Professionally I work from my home as the managing editor of a national jazz magazine. Occasionally I do a little freelance writing on the side. I live comfortably.

I take care of my body. It’s not perfect, but I do my best to keep it in good working order. I eat a fairly healthy diet, work out, go for runs and long walks, ride my bike, play in the park, etc.

I keep a neat house. I brush, floss and shower regularly. I know my manners. Mostly I’m a jeans and T-shirt kind of guy, but I dress up nicely. I’ve lived in many places, worked a mess of strange jobs, met a mess of strange people, been married and divorced, and so on and so forth. Like everyone, I’m the sum of my genes, thoughts and experiences. I’m not religious, but I am reverent.

I’m looking for a woman with a hungry mind, someone with spark and imagination, sensuality and soul, someone with her own unpretentious sense of style. Physically she needn’t be perfect, but it should be obvious that she’s active and that she tries to stay in shape.
