The past year in my life has been this incredibly transformational journey. The amount of knowledge and understanding/life experience that I have obtained is priceless. I am at a point in my life where I know what I want. And nothing is going to stop me from reaching my goals. I have been fortunate and privileged enough to meet some of the most inspiring and humble people you could ever ask to meet. You get one shot at life. Don't waste it! Whatever your goals and dreams are, go for it.
I love staying active. I have recently discovered how much fun dancing is. In the Spring I signed up for Latin/Ballroom dance lessons. And currently, I have signed up for two more dance classes. Salsa and Break dancing. I have to say, I love it! This year, I discovered an awesome sports league in Guelph. Keeps me busy with Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, and Soccer as well. There is just something so appealing about fitness and staying in shape.
One of my biggest goals in life is to inspire people. If I could teach just one message it would be this. Never settle for less. Good is the enemy of great. If you always settle for good, you will never achieve greatness. Never submit to mediocrity! Set a new standard for yourself. And most importantly, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, GIVE UP!

Have you ever wandered into a grocery store unsure of what you wanted to buy, so you don't bother picking up a basket or a cart? And then you end up with your arms loaded to the gills constantly trying to reshuffle items so you don't drop them wondering why the hell you didn't just pick up a basket in the first place? I do this all the time and I am just curious to see if anyone else does it or if I am the only person?
Just for fun, I have decided to create a section with random facts about me.
1)I think black licorice is probably the most disgusting thing ever invented!
2)I don't think this is an anal tendency, but I will look up the correct spelling of a word if I am unsure of the spelling rather than ignore it. I have corrected peoples spelling on POF or pointed out a spelling mistake (I hardly do that anymore, but I have in the past). Theres just something so sexy about proper spelling and grammar.
3)I think I have a very unusual taste in music. I like many different genres. Anything from jazz, to hip hop, top 40, and everything else in between. I am a sucker for classical music as well. Some of the most beautiful music ever composed is classical. Celtic music is also nice.
4)I secretly sing in my car when no one else is around. (I think a lot of people do this) I especially like singing to oldies and for amusement sake opera.
5)I aspire to become a globe trotter and travel the world. I am seriously considering ridding myself of all my worldly possessions, saving up some money and seeing for myself just how beautiful the world is. (So if you have any travelling tips or suggestions I would love to hear them). Or just places that you would highly recommend seeing.
6)I love the heat and hot weather. I think we got cheated out of a summer this year!!!
7)I also love watching really stormy weather. There is something mesmerizing about insanely powerful gusts of wind, lightning/electric storms.
8)The furthest I have ever bicycled in a day was a 235km round trip from Guelph to Toronto and back. My brother is an avid cyclist (I am not). On a warm Friday afternoon early September 2009 he convinced me to join him on one of his crazy biking adventures. It was one helluva long bike ride! But well worth it.
9)I have started to create a bucket list of all the things that I would like to do! I would recommend that everyone do it. Its fun to drum up some wacky things that you want to do before you croak.
I am still in the process of discovering who I am and what I want out of life. I am constantly striving to better myself and thrive through continually learning. I am looking for someone who is intelligent. Someone who leads an active lifestyle and is athletic. Someone who is passionate about what they do. I am looking for someone who seeks adventure, who isn't afraid of taking risks, living life to the fullest. I am looking for someone to challenge me. Explore new frontiers. Push me to my limits. Show me things that I didn't know. Offer a new, fresh perspective on life and all her beauty.

Why plan anything? Spur the moment is always better. Everyone loves a little spontaneity once in awhile. Take a poll, find out what each other likes or would like to do and do it! Besides which, first dates or first time interactions can and usually are awkward and pretentious. I think everyone should agree to cut all the B.S. and just be yourself.
People have a tendency to say really stupid things when they are nervous, so, I'd encourage laughter combined with a physical activity. Heck, go for an iced cap at Timmies and then go for a walk.
