I just recently moved to Philadelphia and this fall I will begin a teaching career in the public schools. This will be a great opportunity to really help some kids and I look forward to living in such a great city! Teaching and working with kids are both passions of mine and there is nothing more fun than making a kid laugh! There is also nothing as rewarding as being able to help a kid understand math. This is and has been a long term goal of mine and I intend to continue for a Masters in Math Education.

I am a rather easy going guy: I enjoy sports, joking around, and reading. Everyone should work hard but also have fun. It's great to laugh at silly stuff, like mayonnaise. Some of my favorite music is the stuff from the 90s. The music that came out during that period was phenomenal. This would include bands like the Gin Blossoms, Matchbox 20, and Third Eye Blind. 3 Doors Down is also very good. I also have an interest in a variety of classical and jazz music. Mahler was a dynamic composer and Miles Davis always had a solid groove going in everything he did.

Looking for someone who is classy/friendly/funny/independent, doesn't need to drink to have a good time, can make the best out of a bad situation, enjoys sports, loves what she does, loves people, and cares about animals and other living things. To be honest, I cannot say I have come across many women with most of those qualities.

First dates can be tricky; anyone knows this. A great way to get past any initial awkwardness is to do something fun, such as bowling, mini-golf, or pool. If you are good at those, then you can probably enjoy beating me. I'll also go dancing with you if you forgive the fact that I suck at it and try to make up for it by being really goofy. A trip to the zoo would be a great choice as well. If you really enjoy talking, that is no problem whatsoever. Great conversation always makes a fantastic date!
