For many years I was a successful professional racing driver.

Honesty requires me to tell you that I am currently going through a divorce. It is not final yet, which is why I have checked off separated! She has moved out and is on her own now. It is just a matter of time until the final decree. I hope you will not hold that against me, especially since at this time I am simply trying to make new friends and build toward a new life in the future, after the divorce.

I love music and I love to sing. I do sing with some local bands and musicians! My musical tastes are very eclectic. Rock & roll, show tunes, ballads, country, R&B, I love it all! I sing mostly Sinatra, Martin and Bennett, but I can belt out a tune from Berry or the Beatles, or be mellow like Mathis, Richie or King Cole! People seem to like my voice and my style and keep asking me to sing, so I do.
Dancing is also something I love, and I would like to find a good partner!
Laughter is music too! I love to hear it, especially the laughter of children.
I have done a fair amount of acting over many years, especially in community theater. I recently appeared in the play "Mr. Roberts", in the role of the "Captain".

My two children are both grown and married. I did my best to be a supportive and inspirational father to them, and it appears that I succeeded. My pride in both of them is overwhelming. I have two grandchildren, twins, boy and girl, who are now two and a half years old! They are the central joy of my life. They live nearby and I relish every opportunity to spend time with them.
I love the outdoors, and enjoy hiking, skiing, swimming, or by contrast, just lying around soaking up the sun and relaxing!
I currently live on 5.3 acres of fields and woods in Cheshire!
Movies are a particular passion of mine, new and old! Ask me about my favorites. Love to curl-up on a cold night with a fire on the hearth and a great film on the telly! I would love to find someone to share it with!
I'm not afraid to hold hands in public. Public displays of affection are fine with me, but I will not impose myself on you!
