Why is it that people can be sooo friendly, warm and receptive up until the point where they think they've met someone else better than you? Then it's like a light switch that turns off and goes cold and they'll blow you off along with the potential friendship that could have been. I guess that's just part of the natural selection. Better chemistry somewhere else and you are by the wayside being fed to the buzzards, ha,ha....oh well....their loss!

I grew up Catholic but I haven't been too religious lately. I do believe in Jesus but I'm impartial to organized religion and their potential for corruption and hypocrisy.

All I would ask for is enough time given the opportunity, for both of us to get a glimpse of each other's true selves hoping that maybe there'd be some similarities and compatibilities that we can enjoy if granted the time to spend together. I think that's called chemistry by some people.
Your inner and external beauty are important but your integrity is key also. I think the physical distance issue if there is any is bridgeable if 2 hearts are intent upon getting together on making positive headway towards a loving relationship.

I enjoy any warm weather activity specially on the water. I'm a very active person(slalom skiing, biking, free weights, swimming, running, racquetball...I like playing golf, tennis, guitar, playing piano/keyboards, boating, jet skiing, wakeboarding, skiing(both-water & snow), travelling; I've been to a few places-- Hawaii, Tokyo, Miami, San Francisco, Reno, Breckenridge, Copper Mtn.,New Orleans, haven't been to Vegas yet, and I try to go to Florida at least once a year. I'd also like to tour Europe specially the Roman ruins sometime.
I enjoy camping- 5 star style(condo-spa,ha,ha)or a tent, rollercoasters and white or black sand beaches.
I like having fun but I enjoy quiet times also. A good book, a symphony, pitter patter of summer rain or even a full blown thunderstorm can be fun with the right person as long as there's no tornado bearing down on us.
I'm a mechanical/electrical troubleshooter. I'm the electrician, IT tech, backflow inspector, plc programmer, network designer, pool guy, landscaper, machinist/fabricator and a few other things. I'm still going to school to finish a degree- have plenty of certifications but never got around to get that degree. I try to keep up with evolving technologies.

I like sappy love songs when appropriate, dance music, classical, jazz, blues, latin, some country and anything else with a good beat except rap and bluegrass.
My favorite roller coasters are the Kraken, the Hulk and Duelling Dragons at Sea World so far, and you have to sit on the very front to get the full effect of the rides. I'd like to visit Cedar Point- I heard they have some killer (Top Thrill Dragster is one) coasters there. Maybe next summer- want to join me? After Cedar Point my next project will be scuba diving(again) in the Philippines. They have some of the most awesome coral reefs and marine life you will ever see, and then maybe off to Australia for the Barrier reefs(where some of the most diverse marine eco systems can be found).

A leisurely afternoon boat ride to watch the sunset on the water if it's summer time. Dinner at a nearby restaurant close to the water, maybe a late movie afterwards. This is probably more ideal as a second or third date.
An easier first date would be coffee or casual drink, maybe dinner and pleasant conversation and just go from there....
