A few words to describe me, according to my crazy friends, would be caring, vivacious, and crazy (go figure).

I enjoy doing many things and spending time with my children. I like a night at the opera just as much as seeing a local band play at a hole in the wall dive. I love going to concerts and am not afraid of the mosh pit. I can wear jeans just as well as a little black dress and am in my element whether we are discussing Plato or Lost or Rock Band. I do not sing very well but love being the diva singer on Rock Band while being accompanied by my three wonderful sons whom I love more than life itself. My children's ages are 7 1/2, 11, & 12.

Other areas of my life worth mentioning: I was born and partially raised on a farm in S. Dakota, I am a part-time writer (nothing published), and a full-time psychology student. I am health conscious but have to fight with myself to get my butt in the gym because I'd rather be doing something fun. So, a workout partner would be nice as well to make the process more enjoyable.

On rainy days I like to cuddle in bed with a book or a movie if I have someone to share it with. I like camping and tubing down the river, but it has been awhile since I have been able to do either. For some reason my kids don't trust me, "just a girl", to take them camping lol Not sure where they ever got the notion that I could not hold my own at camp.

I love to cook and will often attempt to recreate the recipes on food network or try my hand at grilling on my trusty george foreman grill ;-) I enjoy food and know when to order the steak and when to have just a salad.

I tend to be a perfectionist which also means I am a bit of a procrastinator. However, I am almost always on time because I have learned to compensate for my shortcomings. I can be ready to go out in 15 mins because life is too short to spend time in front of the mirror when you could be spending the time beside your parter holding hands or enjoying a laugh.

I recently graduated with my Bachelors degree and am now persuing my Masters in psychology.

I think a first date scenerio depends on those involved, but I will tell you about my favorite first date. We played laser tag, then pool, had drinks, and then headed to blockbuster then back to his place where he made me an omelette and we played video games.

I would also enjoy drinks at a local bar/pub, lunch, or a stroll on the boardwalk.
