Born/raised in Dallas. Dad was a coach, so I've learned that you treat elders and women with respect. I've been single for a year, and I am OK. I miss the things that are part of being a couple. Conversation, companionship, sharing, passion between 2 people, smile from across the room, the scent she leaves in a room that I have just walked into, the feel of her fingers as she touches my back as she walks past. I see some heads starting to bob. I don't miss the arguments, but I am pretty easy going in that respect. But these are the reasons that I am here.

Southern gentleman. Feel that she should be treated with respect and that she should always come first. Both of my boys are out of the nest, so I can put her first. If you enjoy being seated by your date at dinner, doors opened for you, putting the seat of the toilet down, then you you found one of the guys that does that. If you don't, might as well stop reading.

I have two sons raised the same way as I was. Both in college, one is about to graduate. They are my proudest accomplishments. They are disctinctly different and the same.

Travelled a lot for work and pleasure in previous career. Can be happy just about anywhere. Like sun and beaches most. Don't travel as much as I use to. 1st, spend a lot more time at work now than I should. 2nd, I don't have yoiu as a travel partner.

I am very competitive, I don't like to finish second. That is the way that I approach my business life. Since you can't always win and I have learned to accept being the best all the time a little better. My personal life is a little better since I see my partner as the person that I want to take care of an please. But I still want to the be the best for her.

Still young at heart. I like going out for dinner and dancing. I will try just about anything once. I can dance CW, but I have to pay attention to what I am doing. If that is what you like, you may have to teach me, but I am a quick learner. I don't get bored with some of the slower type activities like museums and exhibits and I can even go shopping. What better way to influence what she wears???? I finish second there too sometimes.
