I am a pretty laid back guy that likes to go out and have a good time with my friends every once in a while. Having a son really made me slow down and realize what life is all about. My friends and family are very important to me and I am always there for them as I know they will be there for me. My profile shows "occasionally" for smoking but I am trying to quit at this time. I live on a small farm just outside of town with my three year old son and German Shepard. As my son calls it "daddys big monser tuck" I drive a Ford PowerStroke diesel, hence the name PSDguy. Living in the country is exactly where I want to be, you just can't beat a warm summer night relaxing on the deck looking up at the stars. I try not to get too serious about anything and have a good sense of humor no matter what happens. In the warmer months I enjoy riding my 4wheeler, target shooting, going to truck pulls and basically anything outdoors. As far as music goes I'm definitely partial to country but do listen to just about anything. Friendship has to be the basis for any good relationship, if you can't be friends obviously it's not going to work.

The qualities I'm looking for in a woman would be someone that can carry on an intelligent conversation, has strong family values and a sense of humor. Someone that doesn't want to spend every weekend, or week night for that matter at the bar. Obviously someone attractive, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm pretty self sufficient so I'm not looking for a maid or a baby sitter just someone to be able spend time with and eventually come home to.

I would say the first date needs to be something where we could talk and get to know each other. Dinner then maybe a game of pool or bowling if things are going well. Possibly we could go to a local event if something happens to be going on at the time.
