| | I love my life- I am blessed with great friends, family, an ornery dog, a fat cat, and movies like "Old School," "Wedding Crashers," and "Friday" when I need a good belly laugh! I love to laugh, and I pretty much deem it a necessity to date someone who can make me laugh and who gets my sense of humor.....can be a bit sarcastic at times, but I can definitely take what I dish out.
I am growing very tired of the bar scene. Don't get me wrong, I like to socialize and have fun- just looking for more of the finer things in life. I'm really not speaking about material things, but more about finding joy and peace and sharing it with someone!
I think it is each person's responsibility to find happiness within, but I have realized a few things in my dating years. I will not be compatible with someone who does not respect time, does not follow through on his word, and/or plays games. I have very little tolerance for incondsiderate-ness (Really, is that even a word?? I swear I am college educated). I hope to find a true partner- to me, that means we will bring out the best in eachother, not aggravate each other! I have made many mistakes in my life, but the important thing, I believe, is learning from them and NOT repeating them! Sooooo, drama-seekers need not apply.
I can be a bit competitive- but am not a sore loser....for the most part. I like to bowl(but am NOT good at it), I enjoy playing poker and I like to watch football(ok, I like to watch DA BEARS). The nerd in me loves to read and I also play the piano. I am very spontaneous and love random road trips!
One of my favorite things to do is travel. I know everyone says that, but I truly want to travel the world. I love to scuba dive, so I have mostly traveled in the tropics up to now. I am at a point in my life where I am financially able to travel, and I am fortunate enough to get 5 weeks vacation a year. I'd like to explore Greece, Italy...lots of Europe. It would be so much more fun to have a travel companion!!
Oh, and I am well-aware the pic of me in my sweats is not all that sexy- but reality is, that is probably what you're going to get on a Sunday lounge-around type of day. Baby's got back and curves to boot. Certainly don't want to give the impression that I am a diva.....all the time.
