Well hello there.

I am Jon, and in advance it is very nice to meet you. About me, well I am very mature person for the most part. In public, at work and any other serious situation that I come across. Behind close doors I can be not so mature. I love to laugh and joke around. Usually when I fist meet someone my natural reaction is to try to crack jokes to get over the incredible shyness that I get anytime I am talking to a pretty girl for the first time. Unfortunately a lot of time my humor goes over peoples head at first. This is mainly because due to the fact that my humor is very dry, witty and sarcastic. I am a news junkie. I love to read the news on a day to day basis, including watching the Daily Show and Colbert Report as often as I can. I am an intelligent guy. I am no genius, but I do enjoy learning, and love to take stuff apart when it breaks to try and figure out what "makes it tick". I take my career very serious. I have plans and goals for the next 5, 10 and 20 years.
I love to cook, I went to culinary school and only stop cooking professionally because even though I loved to cook, working on a line in a kitchen is not exactly a dream scenario. But one day I still have the thought of possibly opening a restaurant. I can cook basically anything, although Italian food is probably my favorite.
I have recently moved here to Hayward and have not had much luck finding people, especially females who peak my interests. But I really do want a real relationship, someone who wants to be with me as I would want to be with them. Someone who is intelligent, that can hold a conversation about politics, religion and life. Of course I would also like someone who is really nice and would like me for me and not what she can make me.

For a first date, I would probably take you to the San Francisco Aquarium, we could walk around there for a while. Then maybe dinner or coffee so we could chat and get to know each other better. But as I said before I love to cook and that is always an option as well.
