First of all...does not being a serious member make a person not serious about wanting to meet someone? I think not! We are all here to hopefully meet that special someone.

I believe either you like me or you do not like me! I also believe it is important for me to express what has happened to me over the past year or so, and has really been life changing and a humbling experience for me. I was laid off in February 2008, unable to find work and still unemployed. My credit is shot; I lost my car too in the mess of my financial turmoil. I had to make many sacrifices and adjustments. On the upside I went back to school and got my AS in Visual Communications and I am now pursuing my BS in Software Engineering. It took me long enough to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up! If I initiate a message and you are not interested please say so, as I will do the same in return out of respect.
There comes a point in your life when you realize:
Who matters,
Who never did,
Who won't anymore...
And who always will.
So, don't worry about people from your past,
there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
I moved to the Tampa area on March 06, 2009. I am thrilled to be here amongst the warmth and palm trees! I have always wanted to move to Florida and be near the Gulf beaches.
I am down to earth and laid back, optimistic about life, and somewhat a perfectionist...but not in a bad way. I am fun too! I truly enjoy laughter! I am looking to make new friends. If interested, then you know what to do! If you have questions for me just ask. I don't bite. Ok maybe a little! I do enjoy fine things in life but they are not a necessity. I like spur of the moment activities - just to get away or a nice long drive through the country. I consider myself a giver. I am youthful at heart and enjoy sharing laughter with family and friends.
My Family - I am a very proud parent! I have two wonderful and smart kids. Not so much kids anymore...lol. My daughter Jessica is 20 and is a sophomore in college; she is studying for her BS in Nursing. She is a beautiful young lady, and quite smart too. My son Trevor is 18 and is a senior in high school (BIG MAN ON CAMPUS! LOL), he's a great kid, and handsome too like his dad...LMAO!
I am an animal lover I have a Congo African Grey parrot, her name is Grace - she is 2yrs old. GRACIE "is talking - finally"! I also prefer dogs over cats...hence having a bird, but I do like cats.
I want to meet a woman that is willing to put in 100% into a relationship as I do. I am a giver and enjoy pampering my significant other in many ways. I love affection and simple things that build a relationship and I am looking for the same in a woman. I WILL NOT SETTLE FOR LESS...been there done that!! I believe that people do learn from life's lessons (good or bad), and that people can change. Call me optimistic, but being optimistic is part of being positive. Too many people live in a negative space they call their life. Well, I am not willing to participate in that spectrum. I am not perfect and I have made mistakes...AND...I have learned, and changed for the better. Why stick with something that does not work? Kind of stupid if you ask me!
Lastly, I do prefer BBW type women, proportional too, and 5'6" or less in height. Not written in stone but it is a preference.
When you come to the end of all the light you know, and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen: Either you will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly. :down:
