I run almost daily as a addiction rather than a love. I enjoy it at times and other times not. I like movies,antiques, old cars, fast cars.I like to garden, improve my property, take my dog on runs.I grew up in a extended family and felt like the round peg in the square hole. I joined the Marines at 17 to be the few and the proud and to feel better about myself. To shape the round peg.It worked...I felt proud.It is still difficult, even more as I get older, to talk/initiate conversation for purposes of dating. People today are on their guard. Once I am known, I am liked. It's that whole process of finding and knowing someone. People don't have the time or the energy to complete it.WE live the fast life of computers, cell phones, texting. I'm really not into all that, but I try.....again just to fit in. I'd really rather spend my time with my partner living life. Talking about feelings, future, worries, children and jobs. Preparing meals together, a little hanky pank in the kitchen, grocery shopping with a goose or 2 in the checkout isle, and snuggling on the couch with a good love story and roaming hands under the covers. I just can't do this......., computer crap!!

My ideal first date would be a simple meeting for coffee, a 20 min. walk and then part, so no one is on the spot for too long.
