Hey all! What to say? what to say? Well I love music, art, and computer gadgets like iPods, digital cameras, etc. (so yeah I can be pretty geeky) I'm originally from Maryland but have been out here in Cali for approx. 2 years. I came out here to check out the animation industry but realized that I wasn't quite ready to jump into that field right away. Right now I'm going to school and taking several courses in music and jazz piano. Eventually I'd like to pursue a Master's Degree in music with a concentration in jazz studies. Then I would consider teaching...at the university level, not at a high school, no way...I've seen and remember things...how we treated our music teacher in high school...I just can't go through that, I won't go through that, I REFUSE TO GO THROUGH IT!! LOL That poor woman.

Anyway, like I was saying music is a big part of me, I think I listen to it moreso than I do any other pasttime activity; more than I read, watch tv, anything. I listen to all types too, from classical to jazz, from latin music to reegae, from house/club to easy listening, pretty much everything but I have to say that I love more of the R&B, soul, hiphop, gospel, neosoul kinds of music. Hey, it's where my roots are...it's the kind of music I was raised on, I can't help it, it's in my blood lol. The thing that drives my friends & family crazy is when I ccome across a song that I love, I can't help but listen to it a million times. It just get's into me somehow. I also enjoy painting and drawing. Not to boast or brag but I'd have to say that I'm pretty good at it too. I like watching other artist work as well. Whenever I see an artist who is just amazing at his trade it always inspires me to pull out my own sketchbook or paints and work on my next masterpiece ;-)

Right now I'm learning or sort of re-learning spanish (I didn't really care to pay attention in high school). I love the sound of the language, it's SOOOO sexy and a HUGE turnon! I am always impressed with how so many of my friends are capable of speaking both english and spanish that now I'm determined to learn it myself. It would be a very useful skill to have here in SoCal, and maybe then I can chat a little with some of those sexy latino men mmm mmm mmm, wait let me wipe up this drool from my keyboard lol. BTW if anyone is interested in teaching me spanish I'm definitely willing to learn it from you ;-) I have a friend who said there's no better way to pick it up than to have a spanish speaking partner. The next language I would love to learn would be an oriental language; probably Chinese, Cantonese, or maybe Mandaran because I love those asian men too. Oh and don't get me wrong, even though I love latinos and asians I love people from other races too.

Let me think what else...well, as far as tv and movies, I really like to laugh so I enjoy comedies. I like suspense so I enjoy...uh well suspense films. Romanctic movies are nice too as long as they aren't tooo mushy (I don't know how I sat through Sex and the City: The Movie without ripping out my hair lol) I even like fantasy films that will take you into another world. I can't really watch horror/ gore films by myself though, I need to watch those types of movies in large crowds. I don't know...I guess I just don't want to be alone while I'm being terrified. But, I love it when you're watching a scarey movie in the theater while the movie scene is building up and you can feel the intensity, the tension, and then BAM! the killers appear and someone in the theater gets sooooo scared that they let out a high-pitched, blood curdling, piercing scream. It cracks me up everytime.

Ok, so let me wrap this up. Now you've got a sense of my personality and if you think that we might be compatible at all feel free to send me a message. I just enjoy meeting new people and I'm just looking for something simple, maybe a date and a chance to get to know someone...it doesn't have to be serious. Anyway, hope to hear from some great guys. Again, something simple, it doesn't have to be complicated at all. I would like to go to a restaurant, maybe even Starbucks, sit and talk. We could go to a park, go to the beach, walk around, do some people watching, and just talk and get to know one another.
