I have been single now since 2004. This is by choice. God has been taking me through a very long process of breaking down what I THINK I want in a relationship and in a woman to what He wants for me. Not only do I want to find the right woman for me, I also want to become the right man for her.

I am taking advantage of this GOD given season of singleness to learn how to be an excellent husband for my future wife..

God and my son are first and foremost in my life. I have full custody of my 11 year old son. With that being said...

I don't believe in the whole.. "if I delete your mail without responding to you. Just take that as a polite no thank you." I believe that if someone takes the time to read your profile and then builds up enough courage to write, you should have respect for that person and at least reply. Even if it is to say I'm sorry but I don't think we are compatible. You never know who God might be trying to bring into your life to change you into the person He wants you to be.

I am just getting out here and making friends. I'm not into the bar and clubbing scene like I used to be.. so not really sure where to meet people anymore.. Not really sure what I'm looking for on this site either. What I do know is I am ready to settle down with the woman that God has for me; but then I also want and need more friends. So we can start with that.

I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve; so you pretty much know how I am feeling at all times. I am a hopeless romantic. I am a bit old fashioned. IE. opening doors and scooting the chair when she sits. Things of that nature..

I love music and I love to dance. I listen to just about everything. I put my iPhone on random and you here things from; Cypress Hill, Chris Ledoux, Madonna, Moby, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Slipknot, Wu Tang Clan, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Pink Floyd.. I could go on and on.. hehe... but I listen to Christian rock the most though; especially around my son. With that I don't have to worry about the words or content when he is around. I know most of you are thinking ewww.. Christian and Rock.. what an oxymoron.. but it's a lot better than what it used to be. I mean.. look we have Brian 'Head' Welch (ex lead guitarist of Korn) as a Christian. Check it out.. 89.7 FM or you can listen online at kvrk (dot) com... you might be surprised.. :P

I am currently attending CCCCD acquiring an Associates in Science. I am planning to attend the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) or Dallas Baptist University (DBU).. haven't decided yet.. See you're never to old to go back to school! It is hard though at this age.. lol..
