Hmm, I decided to erase everything I had here and start over. And now I can't remember what I wanted to write. I think my new favorite word is pretentious...I can't help but notice when someone is being pretentious. That was kinda random. Well since I "want to be successful and not waste my time", I'm going to talk about what plentyoffish says I should talk about.
1. Hobbies - I like to work out, play basketball, run, watch Duke (BTW - Duke > UNC), argue on the internets and make quilts for the homeless (I made that last one up, but it would be cool if it was true, right?). Speaking of working out, I thought about posting one of those shirtless pictures, but remember what my new favorite word is?
I like cars. I dabble in politics and religion a tiny, tiny bit, but most folks get a little too emotional about those things so I rarely bring it up. For some reason I also have an urge to play board games...I'm talkin' classics like Monopoly, lol. Sometimes I just like riding around with no where to go. And no I'm not one of those people that sings a long with the music...ok maybe I am.
2. Goals/aspirations - well, I want to be happy. I don't really care to be rich or have a lot of overly fancy material things. Those things can't make you truely happy. I graduated last year, but now I'm trying to figure out what I want to do. I'm thinking either dental school (4 more years of school....yuck) or nursing. I'd probably be happy with either choice, but I want to decide quickly. Turning 25 made me decide that I need to get it in gear because I'm turning into a freakin' old man (eek!). Other than that, I want to do a lot of things - some things I've thought of and some I don't even know I want to do yet. I don't want to get in a totally structured daily routine for the rest of my life...I want a little randomness...like a random trip to somewhere far away just for the heck of it. Don't worry, if I'm married or something, I wouldn't leave the wife behind (unless she nags too much...I kid, I kid).
3. Talk about yourself and what makes you unique - uhh ohh. This is a hard one. Well, umm, I guess I'm genuine. I don't try to fit an image and I try not to judge others or hold the past against them. I like to be myself, be honest and friendly. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I'll listen to your boring stories if you listen to mine. I'm a pretty logical thinker, but sometimes I don't want to be. Anyway, lets move on the next question because this is just way too easy.
4. Your taste in music - I like anything that I think sounds good. This could be anything from the Backstreet Boys (keep it a secret) to Metallica to Garth Brooks or Tupac. I'm not a huge fan of any one person or group, I just listen to whatever is on the radio mostly. I recently noticed that Kenny Chesney songs put me in a good mood. And for some reason I've really started digging 90s music. Endless Love by Mariah and Vandross...that my song right now, lol.
I was going to put more mushy stuff in here, but you never know who reads these things. I'd have to go UFC on someone for making fun of my desire to have candlelit dinners at some random place no one else knows about or how love is when you care for someone else more than yourself. Thus, I'm going to keep those things out of here.
Well there it is...considering it's 2am, I think I have to right to edit this later. BTW, I'm not sure what a fish personality is, but I picked the lobster...I hope that's not a turn off.
