I play tennis at least once a week at a local tennis club, and I like to play more in the summer. I golf sometimes, but I won't show you my scorecard. I'm also an avid reader, I like to play guitar, go to batting cages, or just relax.

I'm a guy who's always on the move and enjoys his independence. Instead of a group of 100 acquaintances, I have a few very close friends. I'm close with my family, enjoy my job. I'm looking for someone who's, above all else, kind and honest. I'm looking for someone who enjoys her independence as much as I enjoy mine. I'm also looking for someone who's happy going out or staying in, dressing up or wearing PJ's, going on a morning run or sleeping in. I'm looking for someone who's understanding, compassionate and humble like me, yet strong-minded, determined and confident as well.

In all honesty, though, I don't know what my perfect match is, because I haven't met her yet. Certain things go out the window, I believe, when you meet that special someone. That's where compromise shines. Everyone in this world has their flaws, some minor and some major. The trick is finding that someone who's flaws you can live with, and they with you.

First date should be simple, with a chance to talk and get to know one another. Movies and big events are out for a first date.
