I have an easy going personality that has listening ears and a non-judgemental attitude. I love getting out in all northern Michigan has to offer, having it flow through my veins, scratch my car, & dent my boat. Each season calls my name to jump in head first. I am not fancy or want to be, I just like being out there doing it, going to the local football game, burning limbs, taking pictures, going to the festival or having a fish fry. Mushrooming, dipping smelt, ice & fly fishing, bow hunting or bird watching to name a few, I just need to be out there. Whether pampering a garden, raising a few food animals or sitting by the fire listening to stories & laughter its all ok with me. I am on the grid, I have a home where I love to prepare whole foods the way grandma did; or watch a good DVD, or sit by the fire reading or pondering, or have the relatives show up for a week or two, etc. etc. I imagine & hope to travel somewhere each winter for a few weeks, but it doesn’t always happen. Life can throw you curve balls so sometimes you need to drink lemonade. I like lemonade how about you, especially the pink with pulp. I also like making memories around food with family, friends or that special someone, long hikes in the woods or along the beach, or checking out where the action is, having water fun, working on a project, enjoying sun-sets -rises & the glow that goes with it, sharing a cup of coffee or tea, a bottle of wine, giving massages & making love.

I hope to find a women who is spiritually mature & knows about her souls salvation, has both feet on the ground & has dealt with most of her past. Someone who enjoys getting out in it, instead of watching it go by. While some people insist on being all things to more & more friends I am the kind that is looking for the real deal, the one & only; you only can spread so much so far. To really know for sure it takes some time to get to know someone & for someone to get to know you. Not to mention that the right one may come & go while you are looking the other way.

No one said that finding someone on the internet was going to be easy even though falling in love should be such an easy thing to do. We are not in Kansas anymore & most of us have been chewed up & spit out a few times. Zig-zagging through cyber space is not rocket science but it is harder then it looks.

On this site I have met many gals who are compensating to make sure they don’t get hurt again & some that are real players using & taking advantage of the steady flow of unsuspecting new fish. There are also some that have amazing qualities & circumstances but have grown accustomed to expecting to leverage a relationship because of it. Now these are just the ones that I was attracted to. If you think that you could be the one, get my attention with lots of your very best current pictures.

We have all made mistakes, have been hurt & hurt others, have regrets & take ourselves way too seriously, & shoulda woulda coulda all the way home. At about 50 yrs old we need to surround ourselves with positive people, maintain our health with the right foods & exercise & look forward to lots of things that make us real happy. I don’t know about you (yet) but I still have a lot of smiling to do. I will be looking for your awesome smile, your dedication to staying healthy & fit, & most importantly if you know what you really want. The glass is always ½ full, it never really matters who’s fault it is, it can always be done many different ways & time is running out. I will keep fishing & hope to hook into a keeper one day.
