I’m seriously searching for the soul mate with whom I will spend the rest of my life. With my great health and a good genetic outlook that should be many more years.

I consider myself to be a very affectionate person. I love holding hands, cuddling, hugging and spontaneous kisses. I would love to have a partner who enjoys the same. Although I'm retired, I'm quite busy. I've been a reserve deputy sheriff for ten years -- a second vocation that I find thrilling. I’m also on the board of directors of a fairly large, international not-for-profit association. That means a fair amount of travel outside of the U.S. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to 25 countries -- several of which merit a return visit. I’m considerate, loving and consider myself a gentle and quiet person. Although on the quiet side, I have learned through trial and error how to communicate well in a relationship.

I much prefer women who take good care of themselves physically and mentally as I do. As I am quite affectionate, I would like my partner to be the same. I must admit that I am seriously attracted to slender ladies, but if you are not, that should not deter you from contacting me.

I like all types of music, except perhaps rap and heavy metal. If it's cool or rainy, sitting in front of a fire with a good book and good music works for me. In nice weather a picnic in the park, a good tennis game or just a scenic walk sound good. Quiet restaurants with good food and ambiance -- an upbeat, romantic movie -- a walk in the warm rain -- all of the above holding hands with the love of my life.
