Confucius say: "Man who want pretty nurse, must be patient." Maybe, but this nurse won’t make you wait until you are sick to meet me. Seriously though, I have a great job because I get to make a difference in the lives of others with compassion. And, working with children over the years who struggle with health issues has truly cultivated the habit of counting my blessings and helped me see that not only is the glass half-full, but it’s good to notice that the glass itself is beautiful.


Life is all about balance for me. Never one to shirk serious topics of conversation, but I am also a big believer in the power of laughter, especially of the laugh-till-you-cry variety. Some of my idyllic moments include standing under the Eiffel Tower and marveling at just how massive, yet elegant it is, sipping a latte on the roof of the Uffizi and hiking the majestic Swiss alps (finally, a good excuse to eat chocolate after burning all those calories!) and the simple pleasure of walking under a canopy of trees as the sunshine dapples through the leaves.


Singing and songwriting comes from deep within me and I really enjoy grabbing my guitar on a leisurely morning and seeing what flows out. As a Believer, I am continually amazed by the grace and tenderness of God, the awareness of his presence in my life inspires me musically. I want to share that awareness with someone whose faith has brought him through good times and bad, someone who understands that being a Christian is about relationship, not religion.


Family is vitally important to me. I am a proud mom of two great girls, one is in college the other is 12. I have home schooled them both since kindergarten and have a great relationship with them as a result. I love having time around the table sharing our day and eating as a family. I enjoy making a home feel full of love.


I seek a multifaceted, assertive and confident man who wants an equal, a woman ready to be his partner, cheerleader and best friend. Character, communication and kindness really win (and keep) my heart. With our strengths we will complement each other spiritually, emotionally and mentally, effortlessly bringing out the best in each other. I think that is the stuff of real and enduring chemistry.
