Looking for an honest man, fun, great sense of humor (laughing is crucial), clean, healthy and a NON smoker, please. I would like to meet someone who has integrity, who truly cares and has compassion for others.

We all have a 'story', I know, but I don't live in the past. I've made mistakes in my life (some big ones, to be sure - lol) but I have learned from them and continue to move forward. I think that's what life is all about. My favorite book was written by Wayne Dyer, "The Power of Intention". If you're familiar with Wayne Dyer or Deepak Chopra, you could be the man for me!

I want someone who takes decent care of himself. You certainly don't have to be a bodybuilder or have a perfect body (a few extra pounds is okay, but a few doesn't mean 50 - lol). I'm not perfect either but I feel that I am 'young' for my age and I want someone with the same type of youthful energy.

I like talking about politics and definitely lean to the left. I don't have to be with someone who has the exact same beliefs, however, if you are far over to the right, we would probably not be a good match.

I adore my children and have put every ounce of myself into raising them. My son is in his first year of college and my daughter is in her last year of high school. They will be leaving the nest soon so it's time to start a new chapter in my life.

I truly do feel like I have everything that I need in life. I don't 'need' a man, but I do miss having someone special to share the good times, the bad times and everything in between. It's so great to be in a wonderful relationship and to truly feel 'connected' to someone who has the same outlook and passion for life.

A first date is really more of a 'meeting' than a 'date'. It's great to meet people online but you can't know if there is chemistry between two people until you meet face-to-face. So a first 'meeting' would be having a beverage and just talking for a while. If the time passes quickly, that's always a good sign. If it drags, the first date would be the last...lol
