My favorite season is her. Fall is when we get into the new projects for the year and can still enjoy our time out doors. Winter is fine but fall has the beauty of the leaves turning and the crisp air.

My idea of fun is to do things that are meaningful, like build a deck or fix a friends car. I can kick back on the patio with a beer if I have friends, family and good conversation. Some times just doing nothing can be fun.

In the summer I’m out playing golf, exploring the forest, or scuba diving in the St. Lawrence. Touring around on my motorcycle is a lot of fun, especially if the rear seat occupied. By winter I get out to the canal (whenever it’s open), down hill skiing, working in the garage (unheated!) Recently I’ve been doing some renovations to make my house into a home.

I love to travel and my job has taken me all over the world. However Ottawa is home.

The person I’d like to meet would be + or – 6 years of my age, comfortable in their own skin and have few hang ups. We all have some baggage and I’m OK with that, as long as it doesn’t rule your life.

I'm a romantic kind of guy who loves giving flowers or little surprises. Watching a movie by a roaring fire over a glass of wine is a great way to relax and enjoy each others company. I believe in open discussion and can talk about almost anything. Feelings are important and should be shared so I wish to have someone who is willing to share that.

Has to start on neutral ground, like a coffee shop or restaurant where you and I could feel comfortable while getting to know each other. If it gets to a second date then we could decide how more intimate the surroundings.
