OK, time to update this! I'm not looking for anything too serious at this time. Work schedule and other priorities (kids, hobbies, etc.) make pursuing this difficult at this point. But I'm sure there are women out there like me that are in the same situation I am (divorced with kids) that would like to date without the pressure of putting the time into a "relationship." Or possibly, there are women that got burned in a relationship and are happy with their single status but looking to date. If that is you keep reading. Otherwise, just know that while I'm not ruling out a long-term relationship, I have to be realistic and say that my expectations for that are low. :)

I'm just looking for some adult time with a fun, intelligent, open-minded woman. If you have some of the same interests that I put in my "interest section" that would be great. A lot of people don't fill that out. I don't get that, lol. I look thru profiles when I'm bored and see plenty of women that are attractive, but I choose not to waste my time with them because I have no clue as to what they enjoy. Well, unless they are totally hot and live close, but hey that's just common sense, lol.

A few things about me...this will bother some people...I'm NOT a religious person. This doesn't mean that I worship Satan, torture animals, or live in a Unabomber cabin! Simply put, I respect the feelings of others and try to treat others as I would like to be treated. I don't need fear of fire and brimstone to be a decent person, lol.

Are you still reading? Fantastic! OK, maybe this one will scare you off...I'm not a jealous-possessive person. I am not a controlling person. I've been at the receiving end of that and found the experience very hell-like, lol. It's not that I'm uncaring, cold, or emotionless...I just prefer to have a drama-free life.

Pretty typical first date stuff...dinner, drinks, a movie, watching a Bears game at the funnest place in the world, lol
