My name is Paul. I recently sat back and reevaluated my life, and realized I've just been coasting, sure I had a good job, but I didn't really enjoy going to work, I went in because it paid my bills and left me with some play money. It wasn't the job I disliked, it was who I worked for, and where I'm living. I was recently laid off, and have never felt more liberated. I'm honestly thinking about moving to a new part of the country depending on where I find work, I'm going to Chicago in a few days to talk with my Uncle about which of the plants he runs have job openings, I'm hoping for Pittsburgh or Boston, but am willing to consider elsewhere. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm looking to date at the moment because I might not be here in a month, then again if I meet the right girl, I may stay local, you never know with life.

I hate writing/talking about myself, I'd much rather listen to you, or have an intelligent conversation. I'm up for anything really, I'm about as laid back as people come. That isn't to say I don't have goals or aspirations, I just feel life isn't long enough to take to seriously. I was raised catholic, but am not religious. In my free time I enjoy reading scifi and fantasy or playing video games depending on my mood. I think I'm going to cut down on drinking for a little while, I'm trying to lose weight/get in shape, so I guess that makes me the designated driver. I have never made it a point to watch a sporting event, and don't plan to start anytime soon, but I'll watch a game if you want. I like rock, and alternative music, but can tolerate just about anything for at least a little bit. I'm done writing about myself, if you to know more, get to know me.

I want to find my best friend, the one who will share in all of life's ups and be there with me me though all of life's downs too(as gay as I sounded there, I assure you I'm not). Looks aren't everything, but there needs to be a some base physical attraction if things are going to work, I guess what I'm really trying to say here is have an honest picture of yourself, not one from five years ago.
