To quote Henry Higgins, "I'm an ordinary man...but! While not scholarly, I'm inteligent, well read, well traveled. I've visited over forty states and several countries in Europe. I'm a writer by profession, mostly television, and have produced a few network shows. I look younger than my 69 years and exercise daily (still have to lose another ten pounds) but am in great shape. I've been widowed for two years after being married for twenty-two years to a wonderful lady. I'd like to meet another wonderful lady and would treat her as such. I have three children; grown and living far, far away but would enjoy meeting yours, if you have children.

A first date is a "look see" to assess that I'm not an ogre and you're not the wicked witch of the west. A first meet would probably be for lunch at a restaurant. It's safe, secure and you can always feint a quick getaway, if you so desire. We can also learn what activities we each like, ie, live theatre, art galleries and museums, sporting events, etc. (Am I boring you so far?)I'd like to hear your life story but hold back on dissing former husbands or boyfriends. I'll tell you all about me and I have been fortunate to have lived a very rewarding and colorful life. Still am!
