Me:
I just bought a home that I enjoy learning how to work on in Kalamazoo. I live there with my year old son and our two cats. I am a single parent so I can't be quite as spontaneous as I'd like to be with my time. This has made it tricky to "get back out there" but I am finding more time to do what I like.

I like to hang out with my friends, cook, bowl, play cards, concerts and festivals, bonfires in the summer and fall, go-karts, camping, going to the beach, and photography. I also like to read and love movies. (No chick flicks please!) I'm a pretty easy going person (except at work and under deadline) and like to make people laugh. I have a very sarcastic sense of humor so I'd like someone that appreciates that. I dislike doormats, and want someone who can hold their own in a friendly debate, but hate to argue. I am intelligent although recently more forgetful, care about peoples feeling sometimes more than I should, am thoughtful, direct, and honest. I can be reserved at times, especially around new people. I am an ambitious and independent person who likes to go for what I want instead of hoping it will come to me. I try to be a postive person, and am very grateful for what I have.
I am a real girl so if you are looking for a Fem-Bot, please go to the next profile. I don't have perfect hair, flawless skin, and I don't have an extensive wardrobe from Hollister or Abercrombie and Fitch. I try to take good care of myself but am not too high maintenance.
You:
Someone that I find attractive, can make me laugh, and have a ton of fun with. Someone who isn't afraid to communicate, honest and trustworthy. You should be able to have a serious conversation when needed, or joke with me. A postive attitude is a must, I can't deal with a constant complainer. A friend who can share themselves and share things in common with me but still have their own interests. You should be able to carry on an intelligent conversation or share a comfortable silence.

Here are the "no's"-
Guys that are "one-uppers", BSers, spitters, think they are gangsters, liars, have any homemade or prison tattoo(s), obvious missing teeth, wear too much Axe Cologne, are overbearing or controlling, still live with their mother, have a mullet or long-hair (ewww), don't have a regular job, extensive criminal history, drug or drinking problem (yes, drinking 4 nights a week is a problem) generally have mental issues or are too needy, like drama or head games need not contact me.

Some other things about me:

*I drive a stick shift because I think I am a race car driver. I love to drive Sprinkle Road and hate when people drive under the limit.

*I like some of the cheesey 70's songs they play on the piped in music at work. Everything from James Taylor to Tool, I love music and think it's an important part of my life.

*I appreciate nostalgia like moon boots, trapper keepers, Godzilla movies, The Incredible Hulk, Speak and Spell, etc.

*I totally appreciate the little things.

*Being happy is a choice, and that means realizing that it can always be worse and being thankful for what you have. If you don't like something, work to change it.

*I chose to be a single parent instead of staying in a bad relationship. That being said, you won't have to ever worry about "baby momma drama".
