I am an open, spontaneous woman, and I am one of those people who knows how lucky she is... I truly enjoy my life! After a long and fruitful career in marketing and sales, I recently quit my job and have returned to school.. I will graduate as a Registered Nurse in March 2011. You know how we always talk about how nice it would be to be able to go back to when we were younger, but keep the wisdom we have attained throughout the years? Well... go back to school, and you kind of get to do that! LOL - I am having SO much fun!

Rounding out my life of school and a great group of friends, I have 3 kids... 24, 22 and 16, and am enjoying both the close relationships I have with my kids as well as the freedom that comes with raising children who enjoy their own lives. As much as I love being a mom, I am happy to be at this point in my life when for the first time in a very LONG time, I occasionally get to put my "fun" first!

I like to think that I have the ability to be both deep and insightful, as well as light and funny, too. I believe that every day is a good day... perhaps there are occasional unfortunate happenings... but each day is a good day, anyhow!(I know... the eternal optimist!) I am Jewish by religion, but spiritual by nature... much preferring spirituality to organized religion.

I am looking for a relationship with a man that is (not to sound cliche, but...) comfortable in his own skin. I am interested in someone who is as open to travel as much as hanging out in a local park, sitting on a blanket listening to music. I am looking for meaningful discussions... it's okay to talk sports and business, but we have to be able to discuss our place in the universe, too... and we should be able to have fun while we are doing it! I look forward to spending time with a man that is easy-going, and can find humor in just about anything. Honesty (as much with yourself as with others) is a must... and I would HUGELY appreciate a healthy sense of humor! Did I mention a sense of humor? Gotta have it!

First dates are always tricky... and let's face it... we ALWAYS know if it's going well or not!

I think that any first date should involve time to talk, so no movies. Coffee works, but let's try to do it NOT at our neighborhood coffee shop, where one of us knows everyone. Neutral ground is best! Then... if we both like the direction the date is going... we can expand our time, or head to a second location. So many options! (How about grabbing a cup of coffee (or iced tea or hot chocolate, weather-related) and head to a park for a walk?)

Truth be told... anywhere... anything... if the person is right, it will be a perfect first date!
