Hi, I just moved to the area in September and I'm looking for someone to join me in some crazy adventures around the world....or maybe just make it a blockbuster night - depends on the weather, lol. I'm pretty happy with my life - didn't accomplish all my dreams (still working on them) - but was pretty successful at the ones I got around to pursuing. Hit me up if you think I might be the one!

I guess a drink or dinner is the best way to get to know each other...but if you've spoken a bit already and managed to figure out some common interests - I'm a big fan of non-conventional dates where the activity takes the pressure off getting to know one another. I know that you need time to talk and get to know each other but getting to know someone doesn't happen just in conversation - it happens watching someone interact with other people and see how they react to the world, what makes them laugh or frown or become thoughtful. Meeting someone at a local amusement park, zoo, museum or even at a ballroom dance lesson followed by dinner afterward, is a great way to break the ice. A common experience can really help smooth the sometimes awkward process of getting to know each other. I'm fine with just meeting for a drink but I think too many people are looking for convenience when they should be looking for the beginning of something great. Just my two cents.
