OK here's the deal... I feel divorced but, legally, am still seperated. It's been 2 1/2 years now and we are just waiting for a judge's signature. =) I have a little boy who is 3 1/2 years old and the light of my life! I know what I want out of life and that is someone special to share it with. So here goes... I want someone that I can connect with on an emotional level who is mature enough to handle a long-term relationship and all of its ups and downs. HONESTY is a huge deal to me! I wouldn't describe myself as beautiful because I think that would require me to have some exotic qualities or something. Most would describe me as "attractive" or "cute". I'm your down to earth type and enjoy good conversations and am more than happy to pass the time just playing card/board games. People in general are interesting to me. (Have you ever just people-watched on Venice Beach? Those people fascinate me!) I'm a school counselor. Some people hear that I'm a counselor and think that they will be analyzed by me - don't worry! I'm not a counselor unless I have to be (i.e. friends in distress, work related stuff, etc.) My biggest turn-off: put-downs. My biggest turn-on: someone who doesn't always put themselves first. I enjoy going to some sporting events (A's games, high school basketball - that's my favorite!) but mostly just enjoy getting to know people over a cold beer, glass of wine, coffee, whatever! Since this online, a good first date would be something low-key like a coffee date. That way you can generally get a good sense as to whether or not you have anything in common/chemistry.
