I just turned 23 in april and may 19th marked my one year in the Marine Corp. I spent most of last year doing what I was told and living out of a seabag. I had alot of time to myself to evaluate my life and I know where I want to direct my life. For some 23 is young but I've done alot in the 5 years since I moved on my own and I've got my share of wild stories if u want to hear them. The majority of my old friends have gotten married and/or had kids and someday I'll do the same.
I'm not looking for short-term fun but something with potential. My opinion is, why would someone waste their time and emotions in something or someone that is set for failure. If you've read my profile before I said I have high standards which is true but also misleading. I'm not looking for "the perfect girl" because I know there isn't anyone who is perfect. Physical attraction is important but I've found it to be overrated in the long run. Honestly I dont care how "hot" you are if you're dumb as a box of rocks. What's important is that you care about yourself and want to look attractive to me... I once had a girlfriend who told me " I dont have to look good, I have a boyfriend", which pretty much told me she didnt care anymore.
What is important is who you are and that you have goals in life which you actually have a plan to achieve. That you dont keep doing the same things and wonder why you always have the same end result.

About me: Well in what free time I have I enjoy going to the movies, sports bars, playing pool, relaxing, going to six flags, concerts, baseball games and anything else that has potential for fun. Until 2014 I'm a little limited on where I can go and what I can do but I do plan on finishing my B.S. in business and becoming a store director at my current job. If you want to hear about my accomplishments in life just ask. Some of the qualities I have that people seem to like are: creativity, cleanliness, ambition, kindness, integrity, honesty, loyalty, and my natural desire to help others and put them before myself.

First dates well I think I've only officially had like 6. What I've found usually works best is just going out somewhere public and talking over food or coffee with the possibility of a movie, game, or another adventure after (sometimes minigolf and go-carts can be fun too).
