I'm experimenting with photos now. This one is me out dancing, but the volunteer one probably best reflects where I am right now - trying to transition to a career in non-profit. I'll be working in an sustainable development program in Argentina and need to be able to hold a conversation in Spanish/castellano, so I'd love to find someone who can help me practice.

I used to be a workaholic, but now I've gone through my midlife awakening and am seeking balance and enjoyment from life, and pretty much getting it. I'm looking for a well-balanced man with an optimistic outlook, who sees the good in life and does not dwell on the bad. I like to stay active and do some form of exercise every day, even if it's walking to Starbucks to study my Spanish. I try to keep up on the world - I listen to NPR and read at least the front page of the WSJ every morning. I'm an experience junkie and am priviliged to have had a diverse variety in my life. But I would love to have someone to share these exciting experiences with!

PS- I really do enjoy skiing and am getting a bit lonely skiing on my own since I have only a few friends and no recent boyfriends who ski the steep runs. It would be a big bonus to find an expert skier or snowboarder!

I rely on my gut instincts, so all that is really necessary on my first date is to be able to talk and get a feeling for our chemistry. So I prefer coffee, dinner, a hike, or other activity with plenty of conversation. I do love dancing when I have the rare opportunity, plus doing cultural activities such as museums, concerts, etc., once I've had a chance to confirm our chemistry. There is so much to do in the world and I want someone to share it with!
