The point of my statements below is to connect with someone on a deeper level than the we both like to watch movies BS. Its suppose to be a fun way to express my philosophy's about life. They are not meant to be a list of deal breakers. Feel free to contact me if you feel a connection.

You probably:

You have a competitive streak. Everything is a reason to race or challenge yourself. On top of that you prefer playing sports to being a gym rat.

You love challenging yourself mentally as well. You might suck at trivia but bar trivia is a good time.

You probably can’t sit still for very long. You’re a high energy person but you also know that it’s important to relax.

You have a die hard work ethic. Whether it is physical labor or your time and energy on a project at work you know your work represents who you are and you take pride in it.

You sing in your car and dance in your house. Good music takes over your emotions and is a constant form of stress release. Going to a rock show sounds like a good time.

Stress is managed in healthy ways. Going for a run to think about things sounds like a good idea.

You have a certain lack of shame. Integrity is highly important to you but who cares what other people think if they aren’t going to take the time to get to know you.

When the going gets tough the tough get going. Life goes on whether you’re ready to face it or not. Dust yourself off and dive in head first.

You strive to be as independent as possible. You don’t have a problem asking for help but you prefer to learn something new so you can be empowered to do it yourself.

You are comfortable in your own skin. You only worry about things you can change and if you don’t like what you see you do something about it.

You probably love animals and kids but understand that being a PARENT is a serious responsibility and it’s not something that should be taken lightly. by the way the pic is of my niece.

You’re frugal not cheap. You have your finances in check. You like quality things but aren’t willing to pay full price if you don't have to.

Hate when people tell you HATE is a strong word. That’s why you use it because you have strong opinions about things and don’t like to compromise your happiness for selfish people.

Your life doesn’t revolve around, TV shows, movies, hanging with the same group of friends. You have too many hobbies and passions for life to be that boring. You probably have a diverse friend circle but not too many really close friends because it’s hard to find genuine people.

You don’t expect more from a relationship than you have to offer. You know what you bring to a relationship and expect at least the same from the other person.

You have passions that drive your life. Passions are things that when you are doing them you feel like you wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Passions are things that you would do for free but if you’re lucky you’d get paid for them and maybe even make a living off them.

You understand that you need to embrace change whether you like it or not. Life is all about evolving. It bothers you when you feel like your life is in neutral.

You have a short fuse for people who are disrespectful. You refuse to be an enabler. You would rather be alone than be around someone who creates drama.

You can appreciate brutal honestly. Sometimes life is brutal but you’d rather know the truth than live a lie.

You wear your heart on your sleeve. You speak your mind but don’t volunteer your opinion.

You probably like to laugh too much and maybe too loud but everything is funny and a reason to be funny. You enjoy imitating others and are too sarcastic for most.

You don’t hide or edit who you are unless you have too. If you’re not going to get along with someone then why not let them know right away so you can avoid them in the future instead of pretending. I’m big on honesty so I have trouble hiding my true feelings about things.

You value communication. It’s important that people know exactly your train of though and don’t avoid striking up conversations on complicated issues. You value talking things out and your goal is to resolve problems rather than ignite them. Nothing is more annoying than miscommunication and assumptions.

You question everything. Your morals and philosophy are based on your experiences and proven fact. You like to educate yourself on important subjects before you form an opinion.

Trust is high on your list. If you can’t trust someone 100% then you definitely wouldn’t be in a relationship with them.

You’re not a moody person. You are basically a fun person to be around 24/7 unless someone pisses you off which someone would have to try pretty hard to get you pissed because you’re a hard nut to crack.

Health is high on your list of priorities. You like to balance the good with the bad but paying more for organic foods doesn’t even faze you.

You’re not superficial. You have to be attracted to someone but because they aren’t a foot taller than you that doesn’t have anything to do with falling in love with someone. Let’s face it you fall in love with someone’s personality. If the personality isn’t working for you then it doesn’t matter how hot they look.

You understand that it’s the year 2009 but we are still animals. As animals we have very primal behaviors that still affect us today. It’s not about changing the opposite sex but finding common ground for respect of each other differences so we can both get what we want.

first date would probably be something spontaneous based on an activity that i know you would enjoy. hopefully that would be something more interesting than a dinner and a movie. I'd rather just sit down for a beer and get to know someone the first time i met them.
