Hobbies: Reading, writing, watching movies, hiking, scuba diving, dancing

Goals/aspirations: I try hard not to make hard core "goals and aspirations"... I set goals for myself and have things that I aspire to but they do not rule my life. I kind of like having a free spirited view, an openness to posibility.

My uniqueness: I am horribly honest... very straight shooter... I know a lot of people claim to be this way but I can honestly say that I am this way... it can be a bit off putting for some but I just feel that I have no reason to hide behind a facade... what you see is what you get.

My taste in music: I have a wide range of favorites and listen to all kinds of music... the only things I don't listen to are hard core rap and heavy metal... anything else is great. However, I do tend to lean towards classic soul, R&B and blues.

My taste in movies: Here again I have a wide range of tastes but I love action and horror.

My family: My family is very important to me... and I have a habit of adopting people. Like my next door neighbor... she is 82 and I just like to take care of her... you know do the little extra things for her that I can... take her dinner and such. I have one child that is the love and light of my life... I do not talk about her much until I really know and like someone.

I would prefer to meet someone somewhere conducive to conversation... dinner and then a movie or possibly go out dancing... poetry cafe... comedy cafe... walk in a nice park... etc...
