Lately I've been focused mostly on work, but my past lives have included career student and bass player in a rock band. I've had little time for hobbies, but my spare time can find me listening to/collecting/creating music (pretty much an obsession), watching some random family guy episodes, or playing with the cats (two cats for the single guy, that's right).

I have a degree with a double major in Political Science and International Development Studies, and a partial degree in Economics. Right now I work in a completely unrelated field - in the skilled art of call centre management and monitoring - but when Rome, or this case Moncton....

Also, I'll warn you right now I'm not a club person - been there, done that - boring. Now it would be more plausible to find me at a pub, or a rock bar watching a band.

To be to the point though, I suppose I'm really looking for someone with the confidence and assertiveness to want to be successful and a member of a partnership.....but who will also daydream with me about abandoning it all and having a traveling family band. Failing that, maybe someone who will just indulgence me and go to the second hand music store with me to pull out all the old vinyl and buy a stack "just because".

I'm a fan of anything scientific, sociological, or even just plain weird, and read varieties of books on all types of subjects. This even includes old maps! (I have an embarrassing amount for someone who is not a cartographer) Some may claim this makes me a nerd, but I'd like to think I have some street smarts, making for a good balance.

No, before you ask, I do not play WoW - or any variation - although I have been known to enjoy some occasional XBox.

Lastly, I'm a sarcastic smart-ass, and I will admit right now that if you're the type who enjoys that brand of guy whose profile involves pics of him sans shirts....keep moving, I make fun of those guys.
