Quick update... hey there, just thought I'd do a quick note at start of my profile to request that anyone with a photo of themselves shirtless in their bathroom or living room please not message me. I'm all cool with shot of being out on the water or at a pool and shirtless - that's all good. But shirtless-self-portraits-in-house immediately indicates to me that we probably arent a match. No offense meant at all - just a personal preference... like guys who only like brunettes or someone shorter than 5'7. I take no offense if I'm not a match based on your preferences, so hopefully I'm not hurting any shirtless folks' feelings! :) So on to my profile...

I’m supposed to write about ‘me’ but am distracted trying to stop myself from inserting twenty dancing cucumber icons into this just because that would make me laugh (at least I think it’s a cucumber… might be something else). In general, I do a lot of silly things to entertain myself, so hopefully if you’re someone I spend time with, I’d entertain you as well. It is incredibly important to me to laugh – manic laughter counts… at least that’s what I’ve told myself during some of the more stressful jobs I’ve had.

Work is also important to me, and I struggle with work/life balance sometimes. Strangely, I’m built to be retired, because I completely love time off to travel or take advantage of all that Vancouver has to offer outdoors for winter/summer/all year round activities, checking out restaurants, buying local and cooking up a storm, etc. I’m actually a born and bred Vancouverite, and adore this crazy city, but also cannot travel enough. I do well earning-wise, but am sure winning Lotto is just around the corner… just need to actually purchase a ticket one of these days, then it’s early retirement!!

If I retired/had more time, first on the list would be to get a dog – Love animals and hate that my sched is so packed that it’s not yet in the immediate future. Am actually a bit of a strange mix of homebody and going out a lot. Really important for my home to feel homey, comfortable and a place I can relax or entertain others, but also tend to be out and about a lot too. Family and friends are extremely important to me, and I do my best to balance everyone and everything, including a bit of time for me too – whether it be yoga, reading, hobbies, walking the seawall or forests – I love time with others, but also value some alone time in there too. Hard to balance it all at times, but I work at it.

I think that’s prob enough, I hope, as feel like I’m babbling. So if you’re a fun, funny, smart, interesting guy who found any of the above remotely of interest, shoot me a note and maybe we can grab a coffee, drink, walk, chat, whatever and see if we entertain each other!
