| | About Me |
| | I am an artistic, entreprenurial minded, over educated, sarcastic, perfectionist, and self described workaholic small business owner. I am happily divorced with kids. I work too much and a lot of my spare time is spent with my kids so I don't really date or meet a lot of new people. For the last couple years I've deliberately avoided dating so that I could work on my "self" and my situation and my business. I'm definitely not looking for a wife. After getting divorced, artistic pursuits provided many opportunities to travel and I learned how much I enjoy exploring new lands/cities. I look forward to getting back into my art and traveling extensively in the near future. I enjoy most types of music (except country and opera) and primarily listen to techno, trance, ambient, D&B, downtempo, breakbeat. I enjoy the variety, creativity, and energy of a well mixed CD.
I'm interested to meet someone who is their own person, independent, self reliant, not too serious about life, adventurous, a little bit silly and stunningly beautiful, of course (attractiveness is a lot more than looks, to me).
If your profile includes a picture of you on a Harley, or holding up the deer or duck you just killed, or you in your wedding dress or a Packer's jersey, I'm prolly not the guy for you. |
| | First Date |
| |
I think the ideal first date would be a nice casual lunch date where we could actually have a conversation and get to know one another. Maybe at a new place, somewhere with great food and terrible service (that always gets a conversation started). Lunch would be followed by a casual stroll.
OMG! Does that sound really lame? OK, here, let me try again.
We'd meet at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. We'd hop the red eye to Paris. We'll sit in First Class, of course, so there's plenty of leg room and comfort to ensure we're well rested when we arrive. We'll take the train from the airport into Paris. From there we'll take a Taxi to a cafe in the Latin Quarter. After we feast on a real Croissant au Beurre and Latte, we'll walk along the river Seine (wear your walking shoes) to Musée d'Orsay where we'll browse the Impressionist collections and have a late four star lunch at the Musée d'Orsay Restaurant. After lunch we'll hop the Metro and ride out to the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur. On the steps in front of the Basilique we'll relax and look back on all of Paris from a distance. After our brief rest, and as the Sun sets, we'll hop back on the Metro and head directly to the Eiffel Tower which really must be seen at night. We'll venture up to the second level where we'll enjoy a Paris at night view from up high.
It's been a great adventure and long day so we'll take a Taxi back to the airport to make our return flight. We'll fly back on Virgin Atlantic so we can sleep most of the way in our oversized First Class accomodations.
When we arrive back in the US of A we'll chat and say our goodbyes. If we agree to see eachother again, maybe we can catch lunch sometime. Maybe somewhere new. Somewhere with great food and terrible service. |
