Okay so, I am rather new and not entirely enthused about this whole online dating thing (so, far)... Music seems to be a common thing amongst other's profiles (okay so, I have done a little recon) and I suppose I should touch upon the surface of that... Well, I don't really listen to much music (music of my own choosing anyway) but, when I do it generally is something that moves and inspires me. Music that generally builds tempo and/or unfolds with harmony is what I find captivating. That ranges from classical through all various (but, not all) forms of jazz to trance, techno, and house. Last but, not least would be good ole classic rock... Too many bands to really mention and narrowing myself to a handful of bands (even 50) would be disingenuous and pretentious... But, something that immediately comes to mind would be The Cure “Friday I'm In Love” always gets me going. Really though I guess I could say that I don't let music define me... I define the music (or what I listen to anyway). It doesn't necessarily inspire me as it does fuel me. My thoughts and goals are my own and not defined within any classification or genre (that thought/tangent includes political views/parties)... I am perhaps somebody who feels strongly about drawing ones conclusion themselves. My tendency is to protect my family and close friends so, I naturally question authority and view my societies (and my own) liberties as paramount. I prefer to have options rather than obligations but, I have no fear of committing to what is true and obvious. Like a good song or movie I hope to build momentum and tempo to a crescendo. I believe timing is fundamental and perhaps within an area like the bay area people can get lost in the shuffle. Kindness and politeness are lost in some cases in favor of a on-demand culture. A culture of instant access and availability with words meaning less and less as they become more and more instant. I work in IT (network/internet security) but, I view it as a life long hobby rather than a profession. I love history and what thousands of years have taught us and not just what a few decades or a couple of centuries have. Wisdom and attaining my potential is my profession and what I seek. It is what motivates me.

My favorite thing of the week is to pitch (baseball) to the point of trowing my arm out. Even though I broke my hand (all four fingers 10 years ago) when I pitch I leave nothing on the field. I love to throw gas (legit 87+) and 79+ MPH (4-8 inch break) curveballs. I like to bike ride and stuff like that but, haven't recently as much as I would like. I love to swim. Body surfing is always fun at Santa Cruz (I grew up in the Salinas) or just pissing down a lake somewheres (admit it... we all piss in the lake from time to time)...

Okay what more can I say (in these confines) without being self-absorbed... So, if your still reading this thing either your humoring yourself (and you can thank me later) or your interested so, gimmie a chance already! But, have your stuff somewhat together and don't be a flake. I'll treat you with respect if you treat me with respect.
