I'm the type of person who at first glance you would think is very serious even snobby & probably looks a little younger than I really am. At least that's what I've been told. But I'm actually very shy until I get to know people. Once I feel comfortable with you, you'll realize that I'm very down to earth & I love to laugh. So I'm looking for someone with a sense of humor, that is the most important thing. I know this is probably a little unusual for a woman, but I'm crazy about classic cars. I have one, so every chance I get, I love to go to car shows. I love to cook & experiment with new recipes, but I will never turn down an invitation to go out to dinner. I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid! I also love music, my favorite music is Jazz, but I also like oldies from the 70s. I originally said I was looking for someone to be friends with, but then I changed it to dating. Because I think it is important to get to know someone as a friend first before anything else developes. So I'm not adverse to taking it to the next level if it is mutually agreeable. But there has to be chemistry between us before that can happen. Sometimes that happens right away & sometimes it doesn't. I have some really good male friends, & that's all we are. I tend to get along better with men than women. Sometimes it's nice to just go out & do something simple like bowling, shooting pool, going to a farmer's market or just staying home & watching a movie. This is all very new to me, I've never done this online stuff before... so be gentle. I'm a little nervous about doing this. Oh, & by the way...you must love animals.

If we were to go out on a first date it would probably be for a casual dinner, or maybe something even more casual like bowling. I'm not very good at it, but I think it's really fun. Or we could meet somewhere during the day to just talk & get to know each other. I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it!
