~Greetings to anyone who cares to read my profile. I have been alone for several years since the break up of my marriage and ready for a change. I've been in relationships but not the right one for the long run. I would love to find an activity partner, that maybe would lead into a good friendship and who knows...maybe something more in time. All I know, is that I don't want a "instant relationship" ie casual sex partner! I feel it takes time to get to know a person. I believe you have to be friends and know a person before progressing onto next steps.

~ I rather be with someone who makes me a priority rather than an afterthought! I believe character counts, as in how someone treats other people, so it wont impress me that you have the latest gadget or drive a sports car...it's how your heart is.

~I believe karma and timing play an important role in meeting. I love being outdoors, (weather permitting..I'm starting to hate the cold weather, gave up downhill skiing) gardening is a passion of mine along with hiking, archery shooting and trying new things. More on a need to know basis, but I described by my friends with more favorable adjectives than NOT!~

~I am a affectionate person. I like the type of personality, that loves to communicate; via phone call or emails once we realize there is a connection and I think PDA rocks!

~If you have read my profile to this point.. I will clue you in... I have several dogs & cats..yeah, I admit, they are a pain in the ***, at times. I feel the rewards that I get from them exceed the hassle of pet ownership. So If you are not an animal lover...we will definetly not get along! I help out with some animal rescue groups by providing a home environment while animals are waiting for adoption...makes a much happier pet!

~I need to update and add this note, not interested in heavy smokers...alittle smoking is ok as long as you're not a chimmey!
