After over 16 years marriage, I find myself out there looking, just like you, but for who?

Who, me? I'm looking for that one special woman whom I can't wait to see again when we're away from each other. So much so, that it actually hurts when we're not together. Remember that feeling....and when you finally do see each other, whether it's been only an hour, or a day or a week apart, that undeniably passionate kiss 'hello' reminds you of everything that is good. Kissing...IS...one of the BEST things in life!!

Who, you? Are you outgoing, are you sure of yourself and comfortable in a crowd? If you have kids, do you have a wonderful relationship with them? Would your friends say you're fun to be with, and that they would do anything for you if you needed them to? Do animals like you? Now, I know that sounds silly, but I've learned that animals know far more than we give them credit for.

Who, me? I grew up as a farmboy in east central Illinois and that's something that stays with you forever. But, I'm willing to take risks where most would rather play it safe. This farmboy moved to Rush Street in Chicago in '82 and worked the entertainment industry for 10 years. I have owned my own restuarant(where the Jimmy John's idea was eventually hatched from) and a mortgage company.

More me? I'm the guy up in front of the room giving the presentation, which I do regularly, rather than just sitting back and watching one. I'm outspoken but a great listener. I have a 'mahvelous' sense of humor even when the joke is on me, and it usually is. I will make you LaFf and sMiLe and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, I will be there, when you need me to be there, when 'life' happens.

Of course, all of these words are just words. Until we meet, that's all they will ever be.

Please, don't let 'Separated' keep you from sending a 'hello' or more if you have real gumption. I'm just waiting on the system and moving forward.

We'd talk on the phone for what would seem like hours at a time and who knows it just might be. Then, when it feels right, we'd meet for lunch or just coffee somewhere near. Perhaps even dinner if you'd like. Lets not let life pass us by.
