I keep thinking of ways how to redo this to make it more accurate. Everytime I redo this, I always seem to leave a few parts out of what I wanted to say, so here goes with another try. I'm originally from Newfoundland (yea I know, we're such a rare breed up here eh?), up this way to try and get a jumpstart on life so to speak. I don't smoke or do drugs and probably drink less than a handful of times a year.

I suppose overall I'm a bit of a geek. Not gonna lie or exaggerate about how cool I am, cause its not true lol. I'm into anime, video games, movies, etc. Id much rather sit at home and play a game or something with someone having a laugh then ever going out to a bar or club. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I've never been to any of the bars here in town over the 2 years or so that I've been up this way.

I love to go for long drives, especially with some good company to chat to. Some of my favorite parts of my trips down to Edmonton have been the drives back and forth (except for the last time....getting pulled over puts a damper on one's spirit lol). Walks and swims are great in the summer, nice way to wind down after a long day of being cramped up in a truck at work.

Speaking of spending time in the truck at work....thats where I do most of my reading, usually a couple of novels per week if things are going normally with nothing special coming up. Usually fantasy, but at times any kind of science fiction...or really anything that has an interesting and detailed story. The more depth the better is what I like to say.

I've been meaning to do alot of travelling since I got up here (Japan is first on my list), but due to various situations, especially the economy lately, its been put on the backburner for a little while. Figure the places I would like to see in Asia first since its alot closer from this side of the country and all.

Music is a big part of my life....home or in the car, I've always got music on. Usually rock or metal...but I can listen to just about anything, at least for a certain amount of time lol.

So there you have it...another geek lol. I've yet to really find anyone around here with similar interests in the 2 years I've been here. Recently the good friends I had lived with since moving up here had to move home due to personal reasons...so its getting pretty boring with no one around to chat and debate stuff with. Starting to doubt the prospects of finding someone around her to chat with...but for now, it's still worth a shot. :)
