About Me
I am an outdoors type of person who grew up and still lives in the country (on a dead end road in fact) and love it! I have not turned on the TV in over 4 years, have never owned video games or been on Facebook and have not signed into msn since I finished university. Such activities would take away from productive uses of time and socializing in person.
Since learning about the problems in society and world at a systemic level from university courses and my own academic reading, I have become passionate about issues I deem unjust. I am orienting my future towards having a progressive impact on many different types of policy.
I am a leader, commander and instructor in the reserve military, however I am much different than most army people; intellectually, socially, politically, environmentally and economically. You myaswell classify me as not in the military but emotionally against most of what politics makes it do.
I am a Criminology Masters student, an undergraduate TA and an editorial assistant.
I have been a workaholic for most of my life but I also know how to relax.
I may be the most down to earth and caring person you will ever meet.
