Is Equal to the Love... You Make... (can't you just hear the ending melody.... listen... Extra points if you can name that tune!!!)

I love music and listen to it most of my waking hours and am open to all types (at least once!). I am the proud (99% of the time - LOL) father of 2 sons, 27 and 18, so I get quite a variety there. Feel free to bring yours – I may even let you adjust the volume! (Oh, and by saying I do not want any more kids means that I do not (and can not) father addtional babies - the factory is closed!!!)

My young open heart is still a ‘Toy’s R Us Kid’ and I absolutely love the Disney Parks – or any theme park - especially during the holiday season. Christmas is truly a magical time… don’t you think?? So Minnie, if your out there, give me a ‘wink’ – I’ll be looking for you for as long as it takes – I know your out there – because when I close my eyes… I can see you there…

When we find each other you will be in the company of a Christian man, someone who is genuine, caring, loving and giving. Someone who is ok with giving up the reigns or holding them tight when needed. Someone who is loyal, honest, and not afraid of the big ‘C’, commitment. Someone who does not live in the past, but does not forget it either because it’s the past we learn from to help shape and guide our future. Someone who cherishes the simple things, family and friends, snuggling, cuddling, and yes (can’t believe I am saying this) even a chick flick or two (you can’t tell anyone – especially my macho guy friends – I will deny it ever happened – lol!!) I am independent, can take care of myself, make my bed, put the lid down, clean-up after myself, and am fairly handy around the house. :) Other interests include (but not limited to) golf, softball, work (tinker) around the house, take in a movie or a concert (especially at the nearest amphethether), sporting event, flea markets, day trips, longer trips (been there: Boston, Paris, Key West, Atlanta, Green Bay - The Frozen Tundra... want to get there: Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, an extended tropical cruise, ????).

I also must add that I am looking for that special someone who will take me and love me for who I am - not for who I can be changed into. I will take you and love you for who you are so is that too much to ask for in return? I will be a best friend, I will think about you, and I will remember the special dates in our lives.

So – Minnie – go ahead - send me that ‘wink’ – and we’ll be on our way to Cinderella’s Castle… where dreams really do come true…… ;o)

** Happy New Year and Blessings on your 2009. My 2009 resolution is to get debt free (other than my mtg.) I have traded in my $450 mth vehicle for a $0 pmt older pickup. Looking at June '09 to accomplish this. Hopefully you do not feel a new car makes a person... it does not make me!

** Update on the vehicle front - not that it matters much... due to a death in the family, I have a new (to me) vehicle. A 99 Camry - it was my Dad's so it's a pleasure to have it. But, I'd rather still be driving the truck if it meant Dad would be ok - but that's not possible as he's with the Lord now. Hopefully I can keep it looking as good as he did.
