I've been seperated for about two years. I am close to and love my children. I try to do as much for and with my kids as possible. My ex is a good friend. I'm a full-time student. Working on a degree in education and physics. I'd love to write sci-fi short stories in my spare time. I volunteer at the Virginia Living Museum. I'm looking for a woman that I can enjoy life with. I'm outgoing and self-confident. I think honest and open feelings, expressed in a caring manner, can result in a solution to any problem. I like to fish, hunt, cook and hike. I work full-time Sat.-Mon. so I have 4 days off in the middle of the week and enjoy spending that time in the gym, at the movies, canoeing, or finding some trails to go biking on. I love theatre and the arts, I just never get around to enjoying it. I love musicals and music. My favorite musical is Moulin Rouge. I just want to meet someone who can see the beauty in the world around them and can appreciate it. The ability to find humor in life is very important. I could make anyone laugh. It all starts with friendship.

A good first date should as low stress as possible. Maybe a hike or bike ride, followed by dinner. Just the kind of things you might do with a friend. A night of playing pool or bowling is very nice. It allows for some conversation and fun at the same time. If things go well, the second date could be more of a typical date, like cozy dinner, drinks and dancing. Gotta start somewhere.
